Allsorts Challenge Week #134

Hi all! This is my entry for the challenge over at the Allsorts Challenge Blog:

The challenge was to use the colors blue and brown. I know my pattern paper looks sort of funky, but that's because it's a reddish-brown which showed up way more reddish than brown when I took a pic of it.

I colored the image with Copics. To make the jeans more realistic, I sort of faded the color slightly using a colorless blender. Helps make them a bit less flat.

Supplies used:
paper- Papertrey Ink- Fine Linen card stock; unknown light blue pattern paper; unknown brown pattern paper
stamps: Oh Boy! Ian by The Greeting Farm; Papertrey Ink- Mega Mixed Messages
ink: Memento- Tuxedo Black
Copics: 0, B0000, B21, B37, C9, E30, E42, E49, YR20, multiliner in 0.5 and BS
accesories: fiskars corner rounder punch; MFT Die-Namics- Dainty Dots

Thanks for looking! Sorry for the shoddy coloring. I haven't practiced for a while now and all the things I'm coloring seem a bit off. Still waiting patiently for the Copic Coloring Guide to get to my PO Box. Need to watch some tutorials on hair and get my swatch/sample book updated. I've been neglecting keeping track of the colors I seem to pick up the most.

  1. A really super creation and just perfect for our theme.

Thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts and wishing you a Happy New Year.

I think your card would also fit the theme at our sister challenge Penny Black and More
