Stampin' for the Weekend 24; Cupcake 175; C4E R#54; Totally Gorjuss 114

Hi all!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Cupcake Craft Challenge blog's challenge 175  asked to see our wintery birthday cards. I didn't have a rub-on that said happy birthday so went instead with "celebrate".

Crafts 4 Eternity's R#54 was a color recipe. We were to incorporate the colors provided.
I matched the colors provided to the following Copic colors (from left to right in the picture of the color palette): B37, B34, B24, B63, B91. B63 looked like a blue with a bit of violet thrown in and was the closest I could match to the color on the palette.

Totally Gorjuss's challenge 114 was to use a star somewhere in our card. You can see mine at the top right. And speaking of those,

Stampin' for the Weekend's challenge 24 was to use something old from our stash. Do you know how I made those embossed stars? I used a VERY OLD cuttlebug embossing folder called boo to you. Using circle nestabilities, I cut out two blue circles and then embossed just the star on that folder using the Big Shot. The folder has several other circles with Halloween themed images.

Right, so here's my card:

The rub-on moved while I was going over it with the stylus (sigh), so I sort of readjusted it as I went and then added little dots with a Copic multiliner to complete a swirl pattern that sort of guides the sentiment gracefully. Hey, it helped save the card lol. The image was adhered to a scrap of tissue paper I had lying around, which I crumpled before attaching the image to it. The shimmery card stock is Bazzil bling.

Supplies:
stamp: Magnolia image from stash
ink: black; Brilliance in white
Copic colors: hair- E43, E42, E40; skin- E000, E00; sled- E57, E55; B37, B34, B24, B63, B91, B0000, B00, multiliner 0.05
