I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
CRAFT Challenge 136: the challenge was to create something with the theme of "thank you".
Creative Inspirations challenge 144: the theme was also to make something to give thanks.
Aud Sentiments challenge 45: they wanted us to use any sentiment on our project, but we had to use our scraps. I used the leftover designer papers that I had cut up to make this card.
Here's the card:
I used an old sketch by My Favorite Things, MFTWSC26.
The paper where the sentiment is stamped on was hand cut by me. I think you can tell; it's pretty messed up! I tried tracing a shape, but to make the points pointy I had to modify it a bit and that kind of messed it up a bit. The circle was mounted on mounting tape. The scalloped circle shape is a cricut cutout from the Paper Lace cartridge. I stamped the little bird using a pink ink onto a white circle cut out from the cricut, and then went over the whole circle with a Copic marker and the pink ink to make it a bit less white.
