I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Repeat Impression's Sketch Challenge J1112 provided me with the sketch for this card.
Dream Valley's challenge #24 was to incorporate animals. I used a bird stamped image.
Sweet Stampin's challenge was a white on white challenge. We were allowed to color the images and the embellishments used had to be mostly white.
Sentimental Sundays had challenge #86 for us in which we were to use die-cuts, plus as with all their challenges incorporate a sentiment. I stamped a PTI sentiment on a ribbon slider die-cut which was from a cuttlebug die. I also used the following dies along with my Big Shot: scallop circle nestabilities, circle nestabilities and the double scallop border Die-namics die by MFT.
Crafty Sentiments had an anything goes challenge.
Purple Frog also had an anything goes challenge.
Pile It On's challenge #4 was to use lace. I threaded some baker's twine through white lace trim. I'll post a close-up pic a bit farther down this post. Also, as with all their challenges, you're to combine this challenge with at least one other challenge from somewhere else.
Here's my card:
Here's a close-up of the details on the bottom: I threaded Maraschino twine through the white lace trim and then threaded that through a white card stock ribbon slider that I cut out of a die that came with an old cuttlebug. I added a bit of detail with diamond stickles on the sentiment area, and also to the bottom part of the Die-namics die cut.
I had the hardest time coloring this image because it was stamped on Stampin' Up! whisper white and let me tell you, the Copic markers DO NOT like it! I take it it's because their card stock has a clay coating. The Copic squeaked throughout and the blending was not cooperating. Still, I did the best I could with the coloring.
supplies used:
card stock: Georgia Pacific white; Stampin' Up! whisper white
stamps: Stampin' Up!-Cardinal Christmas; Papertrey Ink- Mega Mixed Messages
ink: Memento in Tuxedo Black
Copic colors: B0000, B00, R14, R17, YR07, YR68, E43, YG91, G85, T7, T9 and black BS multiliner to outline the scalloped circle so it would show up a bit better
accessories: d'vine swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder; textile Cuttlebug embossing folder; circle nestabilities; scallop circle nestabilities; My Favorite Things double scallop border Die-namics; maraschino twine by The Twinery; white lace trim; diamond stickles; ribbon slider die that came with an old cuttlebug; fabric flower with rhinestone center from stash
