Hi all!
This is my submission for the Last Papertake of 2011 over at the Papertake Weekly Challenge blog.
The challenge was to use the sketch provided.
Here is my card:
The image was stamped using Versamark Dazzle in Frost. You can't see the shimmer from the photo, but it gives the angel a soft, magical look. That rectangle was slightly bent several times, as you would crinkle tissue paper, but with a lighter touch so the paper fibers would break a little. The brown scallops under the image were cut out using the cricut.
Supplies used:
card stock: Papertrey Ink- Lavender Moon, Dark Chocolate; Georgia Pacific white
pattern paper: unknown retired Stampin' Up! paper (says copyright 2006)- dark green and purple floral; light green pattern paper under the image is also unknown but I think it's Basic Grey
ink: Versamark Dazzle in frost; Memento in Rich Cocoa
accesories: cricut; Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
I love this card, I always struggle to make sympathy cards.
